on the formation of the Hong Kong Defence Corps has devoted a great deal of time to the training of his Company. Lieutenant Wright has served in the Corps continuously from September, 1904.
(5). SERGIANT ROBERT JOHN EVEREST.
has devoted a very large proportion of his time in assist- -ing Captain F.V. James in the running of a Section of Defence Electric Lights. He has served in the Corps since 29th. January, 1912.
(6). SERGEANT ERNEST VERNOX MITCHELMORE.
Has spent a great deal of his spare time during the War in training for and passing as Trained Instructor in Signalling and has since been the Instructor to the Signalling Section. (7). COMPANY QUARTERMASTER SERGT, HAROLD WALLACE PETELY.
Has devoted a large proportion of his spare time in instruct -ing the Machine Gun Company, being a qualified Instructor. Has been a Hamber of the Corps since 29th. November, 1905, (8). SERGEANT-MAJOR CHARLES BOND.
He was an original Member of the Volunteer Reserve. He did
excellent work in training recruits at the outbreak of the War. Has done excellent work as Company Sergeant Major and latterly as Sergt-Major.
